I worked 5 and a half years until october 2007. I used to useing lots of english words when I work but it was so hard to understand. Then suddenly I realized and decided to study english in the U.S., so after quit my job and then I planned to come to U.S. After that I discussed with my parents. I was afraid of this discussion because I thought it was my parents doesn't want to quit my job and i thought they trying to dissuade me but they encouraged me, so I was really happy. In sum, I'll always trying to effort for speaking english more conveniently than before.

In Taiwan, if you know how to speak good English, or you graduated master, you could get good job. I had a job in Taiwan but I just graduated university. My manager like hired people who is master degree. Suddenly, I think I need some train, so I came to U.S.A. to study English. My parents and ex-manager are encouraged me. They think I could get more experience and learn English. They also think I need to study hard to get good TOEFL score, then I can study master. In short, I hope I could get standard score and then study master degree.

It was last summer, when I decided by myself to come to the United States. My main motivation was the book which is about long freign travelers. I felt enviable their fearlessness of a strange place, and independent action. It implanted strong desire of going abroad in me. I want to get out of routine daily life. I asked my parents about my plan, and they were pleased to support my will. Even though it has been only one month since I came to the United States, I learned many things. To sum up, I believe my decision was right, and I appreciate that my parents allowed me to come here. A little motivation led me to move foward for my future.

For a long time, i wanted to study abroad, and my father is the person who encouraged me to study in USA. He said that was a good chance so that i could widen my knowledge. I can reach to the education development of USA that is good for my major. I can improve my English as well. Besides, i can know many things from the country of various races with different cultures. Moreover, when i study in USA, i will be more mature. I have to do everything by myself, and i must be responsible about everything i do. All and all, i love my father who helped my dream come true.

Study in the US is my biggest dream, but I had many difficult when I do it. When I finished high school, my mother encouraged me to study in the U.S. I had some problem at the first time interview, so I failed. I tried more 3 times, but I also failed. At this time, I felt so sad, because I could not made my dream came true. Then, I discontinue trying it. I applied to study at College in Vietnam. However 3months ago, my mother again encouraged me to study in the US. I told my mother that “this will be the last time I try it”. At this time, I got the U.S visa. After all, I knew that “to make your dream come true, you will have many problems, but you must overcome it”.

My parents encouraged me to come US. Last year, I have a concern about getting a job. I didn't know what I really want to do, and lost my confidence little by little. I was afraid to challenge to something. That time, my parents encouraged me to come here. They said this chance would be good experience to me. I could see other cultures and have time which I can think about my future and myself. I agreed with them, and prepared this plan in only 1 month. Now, I am here and very happy. In short, My parents helped me to get a golden opportunity.

I like to go to Japan to study a little more than to go to the United State to study, but my parents encouraged me to choose the United State for three reasons. Three years before, I studied Japanese in my country to ask my parents to let me go to Japan. However, my parents didn’t allow me to go. One of the most importance reasons is that they believed that it’s much more dangerous in Japan than in the United State. Sometimes we got the information’s about earth quarks in Japan. They don’t want to worry for me day after day. Another reason is that many relatives of my family are living in the United State. They can take care of me during my study as my parents’ thought. My parent told me that the United State is one of the most places for me to prepare for my future. The United State has a good educational system, a pure environment; and it’s a multicultural country. It is the final reason. For these advices, I can’t help studying in the United State because I believed in my parents. To sum up, my parents help me to take this chance to study in the United State.

All my family encouraged me to study in the United States for three main reasons. First, most of my cousins or friends already went to study abroad, so my grandma and my relatives believe that I should learn English well to communicate with them. Second, my elder sisters consider that I should develop my international perspective by knowing different life and culture according to their experiences. Last but not least, my parents think studying in the US to learn English well is very important and useful now. It can help me not only get a better job in the future but also acquire wide knowledge and ability. I'm glad I have their support to study in the US, and it's really a great and wonderful opportunity to me.

So i really worried about that.At that time I was talking with my sister on the phone because she was staying in U.S.And then she told me about study in U.S. that's why I came to U.S. she encouraged me how can I study English and adaptation. Now,I started my second session in SAL. I always asked my sister when I didn't know about something. And then she said to me " Chris, you can do it". So I always appreciated my sister.Maybe everything was my sister's assistance.

Three years ago, I went to Britian to study English. Before I went there, I have graduated in Taiwan already, but my major was MIS which I am really not interested in it. When I was in Britian, there was a teacher discussed with me for a lot of time, and he adviced me can study arts, public relations or psychology because he thought these subjects suit me. I've considered for a long time, then I decided to come here to study Graphic Design. Becuase I am really interested in arts, and the design environment is similar to Taiwan as well.
