This week we will begin our new chapter. Our topic is holidays. In one paragraph, tell me about a memorable holiday that you have had. My memorable holiday experience was 16 years ago on Valentines' Day when my husband asked me to marry him. I said yes!

When I was twenty years old, my friends and I went to Taipei to celebrate Happy New year. Because I live in Kaohsiung, I rarely go to Taipei. My friends invited me to go to Taipei. When I went to Taipei, my friends introduced me to eat delicious food. Then we went to 101 building to see performance show. After performance show, we prepared count backwards. We saw firework show on the 101 building. The firework show is different every year. It is very exciting.
My memorable holiday experience was a Christmas on 2006, i and my friends had a christmas party in cashbox KTV partyworld in taipei. This was my first christmas party, it was very excited. we exchanged the gifts each other in that day, we were happy very much. And then, we drink some liquor and celebrated christmas coming.
6 years ago, I had experienced unforgetable holiday to me. I saw the beautiful fireworks with my friends at the Navy pier in Chicago on July 4th 2002. We were really impressed and after that we had a small BBQ party at the beach. I can't forget it because I had got really great time and then I was really happy, so someday I really want to do it again with my family.
6 years ago, I made frend with a man via the internet. I quite liked him even though we haven't met each other. On Woman's Day (3-8, he gave me a bucnh of flowers. I was very surprised to recieve that flower. 5 minutes after I recieved his flowers, he called me and said:"happy Woman's Day".This is the first time I recieved a gift from a people I haven't met. Unbelieveable we can't see each other. I really want to see him.
My memorable holiday. 10 Monthes ago,I went to visited in the Philippeins. First feeling. My feeling wasn't good because Philippeins is so hot country. I didn't like hot weather.But I kept getting better in the Philippeins. Sometimes I listened bad news about Filipinoes hurted foreigners.But I didn't meet any bad Filipinoes and they are so kind from me. but It is not important. I knew who is really the god in the Philippeins. Before I didn't know who is the god. I had had ups and downs in my life. I was really very happy on 2weeks and I learned how to live a happy life. But I had had some sins. I have had to fight my self. before I won myself someday but now I lose myself everyday because I stoped to fight myself. But I'm going to fight myself and I will win myself. It is important. I have been changing mylife. I don't want to stop mylife. I will try to change my life. But now I'm weak. I will be strong.
When I was 17, my friends and I celebrated the Chistmas Eve in WangFuJing , where is best beautiful avenue in Beijing. There are many shopping mall. We entered a mall and shoped in there. there sold about Christmas stuff, such as cards, Santa Claus toies and so on. Everywhere we heard about Chrisdtmas song. After that, we went to a restaurant. But it was very expensive, maybe Christmas I think. Then we went to cinema. I was very happy in this day. I couldn't forget it
Last year, I went to downtown of Seoul to celebrate "New Year" with my family. There was so busy that day. It made me feel "New Year". We had nice dinner. during dinner, we talked about 2008 each, and hoped to be a happy year. After dinner, we went to Seoul city hall. In front of Seoul city hall, they take a great light exhibition every year. So we watched that exhibition, and took many pictures. Actually, I don't like a busy street, but that day I enjoyed that atmoshere.
Last year, i spent Christmas day with my class including nine people. We went out in Ho Chi MInh city. Firstly, we ate KFC, and talked together happily. After that, we went to Karaoke house to sing because my friends liked singing. A friend of my friends sang for 100 score, and he received a gift for the best singer. Then, my friend gave me that gift. That was the first present i had on Christmas day. I was happy. Next, we went for a walk, and took pictures. My friends liked taking pictures as well. We took pictures a lot. We had a great time on Christmas day. That was a holiday i remember best.
Last summer, I had a wonderful holiday with my class. We went to visit Dalat, a romantic city with European-styled villas and pine forests. We had visited many beautiful places such as: Truc Lam Pagoda, Bao Dai Palace (The Former King’s Palace of Vietnam) and Xuan Huong Lake. We also climb to Lang Bi-an, the highest mountain of Vietnam. The feeling is so special, when we stood on the top of the mountain, around 2900m over the sea. That is may holiday I will not never forget. When I come back to Vietnam I will travel to Dalat again with my friend.
My memorable holiday experience was New Year Day on 2000. To celebrate the start of new millennium, in especial this New Year, hundreds of people in Seoul gathered into the Gwanghwamun, center of Seoul. I and my family were also one of those crowd. Because there were so many people, we couldn't even walk and breath. After all, we had no choice but to back home. Although it came close to being dangerous, it was worth enough seeing.
My memorable holiday experience was last year on Thanksgiving Day. It was my first time to celebrate Thanksgiving in America. As American tradition, I had a joyful and delicious turkey meal with my sister and my uncle's family. After that, my sister and I flew to Las Vegas for 3 days. It was also my first time to there, so everything was interesting and exciting to me. I always remember We checked in hotel at midnight and luckily upgraded to luxury room in the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino. That was really a fabulous hotel. We went shopping and visited several hotels with special characters. In addition, we watched Celine Dion's concert and the Phanton opera. I was deeply attracted and enjoyed the shows. During the holiday I had great pleasure and lots of wonderful memory I'll never forget.
When I was 20 years old, it was christmas. Me and my friends finished the final test, we were very happy. We met 9p.m., we were planned to see movie all night. We bought ticket and we went to eating dinner. After dinner we went Gwang-hwa moon, it is center of Soeul. Street was very splendid to illuminate docoration. We took a picture and watched that. It was very crowed and weparated some friends.Anyway we met again 11:30 p.m.. We went to movie theater. It started 12o'clock we saw movie. It ended almost 6a.m., we came back home.It was very tired but I didn't forget foever.
It was on the 31 December 1999, my first time to go beyond the next year in the city center. I still remember that day was cold, but everyone was getting crazy, no one cared about the temperature. It was too crowded cause the mobile system went down, and made my friends and me lose in touch for few hours. Finally we met again, then went to KTV keep celebrating until 1 January morning. It was fun, but after I got this experience, I have never done the same thing on New Years again.

It was a choolate. my girl friend loves very much. I think that she used to eat chocolate when she was doing something. so, I bought a chocolate for her at GODIVA which sells to chocolate. After that, she was really happy and gave a kissed for me. It was imperssed that our Valentines's day.Even if I was broke up with her,but I won't forget that memory.
